Contemporary newbuild combines aluminium windows and ARP aluminium guttering for elegant results
ARP aluminium gutter systems were used on the Sycamore House development project to complement the contemporary design.
This stunning new build house in Cambridgeshire features ARP’s Legion Box Gutter in fashionable slate grey with matching square downpipes to complement the natural slate roof and show off the company’s capability in powder coating to match any colour required.
Designed by Gary Johns Architects and built by Ley Construction Ltd of Waterbeach, Cambridge, this was the perfect project to demonstrate how aluminium guttering and downpipes can be used in modern house design.
ARP worked with contractor Ley Construction, managing the rainwater system for the project from sampling to manufacture and supply on-site.
Additionally, ARP provided design support, conducted site visits and created technical drawings during this process. The result is a stunning rainwater solution that suits the building’s contemporary style and meets the owner’s sustainability criteria to avoid using plastic.
Aluminium guttering in an array of colours
One of the beauties of aluminium guttering is that it can be powder coated to match exactly any colour imaginable, often to match soffits, brick, windows, doors, and roofs.
On this house in Willingham, Cambridgeshire, the aluminium gutters and the square ARP Colonnade downpipes were supplied in RAL7015 slate grey to complement the slate roof and match the property’s front door.
