Bespoke Soffit And Fascia System From ARP Completes Sleek Extension Project

Aluminium specialists ARP’s technical specification team has helped contractor Octagon to save the day, taking OHS’s design and producing aluminium fascia and soffit for a technically challenging house extension when the homeowner was let down by their original supplier.

The sleek, minimalistic extension on a house in Windfall Way, Gloucester, features fascias, soffits and column encasements from ARP in RAL 7016 anthracite grey aluminium to match the windows and bi-fold doors. The extension required ARP to draw up OHS’s design and manufacture a number of bespoke items including non-standard angles and secret fix wraparound soffits to suit the extension’s intricate design detailing.

Working closely with the contractors, OHS Ltd, we produced drawings for scores of bespoke items, ensuring a sleek finish across the fascia, soffit, and steel post details. Each piece was produced as a one-off design based on the ARP aluminium Trueline fascia and soffit system. “We worked very closely with ARP’s fantastic sales, design and CAD teams to produce the proposals for this project, and it all worked perfectly when the system got to site: the results speak for themselves,” says OHS’s Julian Hopkins.
We manufacture Trueline fascia and soffit to exact project dimensions from high strength aluminium sheet. It can be used behind architectural guttering or to form an integrated eaves/soffit feature incorporating concealed guttering. Trueline fascia and soffit range of components are available in a variety of girths from 250mm to 525mm and multiple profiles. During their long 40+ year lifespan, ARP soffits and fascia systems require little or no maintenance.
