BBA Approved Mustang Continuous Gutter SystemOur entire Mustang system has a complete British Board of Agrément Certificate No 91/2625 with independent test and assessment providing reassuring approval of durability and sustainability, as well as compliance with UK Building Regulations and Codes of Practice. This gutter system is roll-formed on site to form a tailor made robust seamless gutter from 0.9mm thick aluminium. The aluminium is pre coated both sides with a tough durable and long lasting paint finish. It's produced on site to the precise dimensions of the building, which reduces joints to a minimum.
The Mustang aluminium guttering supplied by ARP Ltd has proven its guaranteed longevity. It is the only seamless aluminium gutter system with BBA accreditation, giving a life expectancy in excess of 30 years.
Many organisations including local authorities, housing associations and building developers, having recognised the benefits and are now specifying this superior, neat, maintenance-free and cost effective gutter system. Download Mustang Specification Coil & ComponentsOur coils are available in 0.7mm or 0.9 mm thickness and in a variety of colours to suit your application. Current colours available are black, white, brown, green, cream. Other colours are available to order. Coils are normally between 105 and 120 kilos in weight. 1 kilo of 0.9mm coil produces 1.37 metres of gutter and 1 kilo of 0.7mm coil produces 1.67 metres of gutter.
Our coils are solely supplied by Norsk Hydro Aluminium Rolled Products. They use hydro-generated power to supply their processing facilities, causing virtually no co2 emissions, making it environmentally friendly. Hydro Aluminium are Europe's leading producer of pre-coated aluminium coil and have provided a letter of assurance for their product performance in rainwater guttering systems. Download the Hydro Letter of AssuranceComponents: superior type polycarbonate locking corner and straight connector fittings are incorporated in the mustang system, which have proved to be highly successful in providing guaranteed leak-proof joints. Various adaptors are available for jointing to existing gutters. Corners: locking corners are 90o, both internal and external, and are made from durable injection moulded colour co-ordinated polycarbonate. Fitted in two parts to pre-cut metres, the corners are sealed and fastened together using stainless steel screws. Straight Connectors: used as a simple connection or as an expansion joint, the polycarbonate fitting is applied in the same way as the locking corner. Stop and Caps: made in polycarbonate, the stop end caps are specially designed to snap-fit over the gutter end, which is then sealed. Fixing Bracket: The system is fixed and supported by a hidden extruded aluminium bracket using stainless steel fixings. 4" OGThe 4" OG gutter range is ideal for use on properties and buildings with small roofs. This product is accessible through ARP's approved and recognised installers. 6" OGThe 6" OG gutters are suitable for commercial and industrial, larger buildings such as churches. This product is accessible through ARP's approved and recognised installers. 5" OG CopperThe copper 5" OG is available through our own machine, set aside to facilitate this system. Finlock Gutter LinerIn order to stop water penetrating through concrete finlock type gutters, it is necessary to provide a watertight and extremely durable lining to the water carrying Channel. Finlock gutters were installed as standard on many large scale house building projects from 1945 onwards in an attempt to provide alternative to traditional wooden or iron guttering, both materials being in very short supply after the Second World War. It became apparent that water is penetrating in vast numbers of dwellings via the concrete "Finlock" gutters and causing serious structural defects. In an attempt to stop the water penetration problem, many of these gutters have been treated, often several times, with bituminous applications and in some cases, with roofing felt linings. Whilst offering short term cures in ideal conditions, neither of these methods of water proofing could be expected to provide a long term answer to this most serious problem. In order to restore the gutter's water carrying capacity, it is necessary to remove as much of the previously applied bitumen and felt etc, as possible. The gutter should then be thoroughly cleaned and all debris removed. Gutter MachinesARP Ltd are the sole UK suppliers of the Ironman Aluminium Seamless Gutter Machine. The Ironman machine roll forms the gutter on site up to 30 metres in one run without any leaks. It carries a BBA accreditation in excess of 30 years and is the most modern and reliable machine available on the market. Our machine provides installers the opportunity to offer customers an impressive alternative to plastic, with many positive selling points such as a sustainable, durable product which is quick to install. There is minimal waste on site as its roll formed to suit site dimensions. It is competitively priced against other metallic and non metallic alternatives. Different versions of the machine are available to form 4", 5" and 6" guttering. Both our 0.7mm and 0.9mm coil can be used. Each Ironman machine comes with a two years parts and labour warranty. |
